Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • NVQ in Oral Health Care Level 3: Dental Nursing or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Dental Council
  • Formal managerial qualification or demonstrable experience
  • Post-qualification in Conscious Sedation

Desirable criteria

  • Experience in delivering better Oral Health and applying Fluoride varnish

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Experience at a Band 5 level in a Team Leader role within Salaried Dental Services or equivalent
  • Experience caring for Special Care and Paediatric patients
  • Experience working with patients of all ages with additional needs and challenging behaviour
  • Understanding of Clinical Governance and audit processes
  • Experience with recruitment processes
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
