About the Job

The Senior Demand Planner will be responsible and accountable for the building, reporting and quality of the 0-24 months forecast for the brands/channels they supervise. They will be expected to combine qualitative and quantitative skills by:

  • Technically: hands-on forecasting, life cycle management, APO governance, stock strategy for peak periods and implementation of demand-enhancing tools
  • Management: close connection to logistics and supply planning teams, coordinating efforts between Customer Demand Planners and brand demand planners, securing aligned strategies for capability building (PEAK, HMM, Waste) and deputising for the DP & CC Lead
What your role is

As Senior Demand Planner, you'll be the driving force behind forecast accuracy and supply-demand balance for one of our most important UK brands. You'll own the brand forecast through the PEAK process, lead annual budget volume planning across all customer accounts, and ensure demand and supply are balanced up to 24 months ahead-anticipating risks and tracking assumptions to keep the business on course.

You'll take charge of product life cycle management, from supporting NPD launches with robust forecasts to ensuring smooth planning for delists. As the Supply Chain voice in our Marketing Acceleration Teams, you'll influence key decisions and champion demand planning excellence. Working hand-in-hand with our commercial teams, you'll challenge assumptions, drive technical consistency, and support activity planning through our Customer Demand Planners, ensuring accuracy and reduced bias across every forecast.

Your leadership will extend to systems, people, and performance. You'll govern and optimise our OMP Demand Planning system, embed best practices and new tools, and partner with Supply Planning to secure continuous supply, effective prioritisation, and smart inventory strategies. With indirect line management of Demand Planners, Customer Demand Planners, and interns, you'll coach and inspire the next generation of talent. Ultimately, you'll be accountable for the metrics that matter most-Forecast Accuracy & Bias, Waste, and OTIF-delivering measurable value to the business and our customers.

What you will bring to the team
  • Proven experience forecasting (> 2 years) and supporting E2E Supply Chain challenges
  • Exceptional analytical skills/Ability to interpret complex information and present in a simple way, followed by a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Strong systems knowledge - computer literate with a strong capability (Excel, SAP, OMP or APO experience preferred)
  • Strong influencing & communications skills
  • Continuous Improvement mindset and ability to constructively challenge
  • End-to-end understanding of Supply chain
