Description

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant (Advisory) to join our team at AWS. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisory Consultant to help enable our customers to transform their business and unlock the value of AWS cloud technology. This role involves providing value-centric cloud advisory services with sector-specific expertise (NatSec), focusing on cloud strategy, orchestration, operating models, and cloud economics, supported by global specialist resources.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in business strategy, cloud adoption, innovation, and organizational change management to help clients achieve measurable business outcomes through cloud transformation.

This is a customer-facing role requiring travel to UK client locations (3-4 days per week) to deliver professional services.

UK Government Security Clearance is required for this role (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels). UK nationality is also required.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading and delivering complex advisory engagements across business case development, IT operating model design, governance, and organizational change management.
2. Facilitating workshops and executive discussions to align stakeholders on cloud strategy and transformation roadmaps.
3. Advising clients on cloud transformation impacts, developing and implementing digitally enabled business models leveraging cloud operating models.
4. Conducting assessments of existing cloud operating models to identify improvement areas.
5. Monitoring and evaluating cloud transformation effectiveness and maturity, adjusting strategies as needed.
6. Delivering digitally enabled business outcomes using skills in strategy development, service management, agile delivery, DevOps, business process mapping, and organizational design.
7. Developing business cases and value propositions for cloud adoption and digital initiatives.
8. Designing and implementing innovation programs to foster customer-centric and experiment-driven cultures.
9. Assessing clients' cloud readiness across people, process, and technology.
10. Creating actionable cloud adoption roadmaps and implementation plans.
11. Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to advisory methodologies and offerings.

Basic Qualifications

• Industry-specific business process knowledge.
• AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate, Security Specialty).
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
