Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for defense applications with remote work options. You will lead large technical teams, act as the technical expert to customers and suppliers, and translate complex requirements into practical, low-risk solutions.

The role requires deep DoD experience, expertise in systems engineering tools (DOORS, Cameo), and a track record of driving technical growth within the organization.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience with US DoD primes or directly supporting them.
• Expert knowledge of system hardware/software development, integration and test for deployed military vehicle applications.
• Excellent problem solving and technical leadership skills.

Mansioni

• Lead large technical teams to meet complex customer requirements.
• Represent the company as the technical expert to customers, suppliers, and CW management.
• Synthesize requirements into the lowest risk solution.
• Produce technical documentation describing CW's solution to customer and engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Report technical status and next steps to varied audiences.
• Recommend training to enhance team development.
• Evaluate technical performance of team members and take technical ownership.
