Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the UK seeks experienced Defence consultants to join the growing MOD-focused team. You will lead engagements across Defence and MOD clients, shape requirements, and guide multi-disciplinary teams to deliver transformation.

The role spans business development, internal campaigns and learning, with senior responsibilities and a focus on delivering impactful change within Capgemini’s hybrid, flexible working culture.

Qualifications

• MOD Delivery Management - 5+ years within Defence/MOD; SM candidates – 10 years+.
• Experience delivering Major Defence Programmes across the CADMID cycle.
• Military Domain Experience - Understanding of the Defence Operating model and experience with Front Line Commands or NAD groups.
• Consulting background with ability to succeed in a matrixed organisation and to enlist support for selling and delivering consulting solutions.
• Business development – leveraging relationships and networks to win MOD opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of engagements across Defence and MOD clients.
• Support growth and account development of the MOD account within the Public Sector Unit, leveraging networks, domain understanding and capabilities.
• Lead on developing MOD Capability and Acquisition knowledge across the MOD account.
• Development of our people and leadership of project teams delivering client engagements.
• Be at the forefront of understanding latest innovation, technology development and transformation across Defence.
• Engage with capability sponsors and end users to shape requirements, benefits and user journeys.
