Defence Business Services (DBS) - Strategy and Service Development (S&SD) in the UK is hiring a Business Analyst to turn user and business needs into clear designs and deliver measurable improvements.

You will work across policy, business architecture and change teams, facilitating collaboration, modelling processes and ensuring benefits realisation in a government environment. Hybrid working and Civil Service pension are offered.

Responsabilidades

• Requirement Gathering – Co-ordinate requirement activities, their validation and sign-off ensuring stakeholders' needs are articulated.
• Process Modelling – Determine requirement for and develop, co-ordinate and agree sign-off of the ‘As-Is’ and To-Be’ business process work.
• Gap Analysis – Lead evaluation of requirements vs current/target state and identify opportunities to develop requirements and stakeholder relationships.
• Impact Analysis – Ensure potential consequences of a change are identified and benefits collated for sponsors.
• Benefit Analysis – Coordinate identified benefits analysis for sponsors and stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management & Engagement – Coordinate stakeholder analysis and communications with project and Comms teams.
• Facilitation – Liaise with business owners, architects, users and technical teams to identify solutions.
• System Analysis – Lead analysis to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Assurance & Quality – Apply methodologies; audit tests and quality gates; review deliverables.
• Traceability – Manage delivery of change against auditable processes.
• Business Improvement – Lead work with BI teams on readiness and BAU enhancements.
• Business Solution Design – Coordinate change with policy to ensure systems and processes support target operating model.
• Delivery Products Tools & Documentation – Coordinate development of frameworks, specs, user stories, UAT plans and criteria.
