Job summary

Fractal, a strategic AI partner to Fortune 500 companies, seeks a Senior Decision Scientist in London with hybrid work arrangements. You will lead client engagements, build data pipelines and dashboards, and apply advanced analytics to large data sets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of work experience with databases and SQL across standard databases; familiarity with statistics tools (R/Python).
• 5+ years of experience with quantitative analysis/modeling and reporting.
• Advanced SQL; dashboarding/BI platforms like Looker or Tableau.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Google Sheets experience is a plus.
• Supply chain knowledge related to sellout/sell-in/forecast/planning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements end-to-end with regular updates, meetings, and risk analysis.
• Build data pipelines and dashboards for marketers to self-serve data needs; enable automated tracking of campaigns.
• Apply advanced analytical methods to large, complex datasets and harmonize data per business logic.

Role Requirements:

Client management:

• Be able to lead the conversations with the client and develop deep understanding of the nature of work to share new ideas and opportunity segments
• The candidate is required to bring in consulting expertise and work closely with the client to identify opportunities for growth and scale the engagement
• Communicate with the clients and understand their business needs

Technical:

• Work with large, complex data sets to solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed
• Candidate must be well experienced with Google tools and publicly available tools such as Google Sheets
• Build data pipelines, and dashboards for marketers to self-serve data needs; enable automated tracking of marketing campaigns - Advanced knowledge of SQL is a must
• Harmonize data as required and setup models according to the business logic defined
• Use statistical tools to identify and evaluate the relationships between data fields, analyze output and determine the next action

Project management:

• Lead at least one client engagement independently. Execute end to end client engagements. Ensure regular client updates & meetings, stakeholder management, any failure or risk analysis of the project, data sources, tracking execution & success metrics is done effectively & efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 4+ years of work experience with databases, SQL coding across standard commercial databases (e.g., Teradata, MySQL), and statistics tools (e.g., R / Python).
• 5+ years of experience with quantitative analysis/modeling (e.g., scenario-based, sensitivity analyses, statistical techniques) and reporting
• Advanced knowledge of SQL is a must and dashboarding/BI platforms like Looker or Tableau
• Good problem solving & insight generation skills
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Good to have Tableau or any visualization skill

Prior experience with Google Sheets good to have

Candidate having supply chain knowledge related to product sellout, sell-in, forecast, and planning would be good to have
