Senior Debt Recovery Specialist – Business (B2B)

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Leicester

Reporting To: Collections Manager

Compensation: £25,000 / year

Description

Reports to: Collections Manager

Location: Leicester, LE3 5BZ

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week. Office Based.

Salary: £25,000 (Subject Tax and NI)

Bonus: Earn up to £12,000 over the year, (£3k each quarter), paid in quarterly instalments (subject to tax and NI and based on performance and KPI’s).

If you are a diligent Collections and Recoveries Specialist we would like to hear from you. You are a skilled negotiator from either the Energy or Financial Services industries and can utilise your skills to reduce DSO through the management of complex queries.

What We Need from Yü

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

Manage the recovery of overdue accounts by contacting customers via phone, email, and letters.
Handle complex and high-value accounts, negotiating payment and settlements with customers to recover outstanding debts.
Work closely with other departments, such as Legal and Customer Service, to resolve disputes and facilitate the recovery process.
Perform comprehensive investigations into the reason for unpaid bills, identify and assess risks and recommend measures to mitigate these risks.
Analyse account data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports on recovery activities and outcomes for senior management.
