Job summary

Aptia UK Limited is seeking a De‑Risking Client Relationship Manager to oversee high‑profile client projects, support the client director, and serve as the central point for guidance, billing analysis and budgeting. This hybrid role allows work from any Aptia office or home address.

You will assess pension data risks, manage escalations, lead projects, monitor budgets, and build strong relationships based on honesty and collaboration.

• DB/DC pension knowledge and experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage flagged risks in pension scheme data that may impact project delivery.
• Ensure errors, omissions, and complaints are handled per procedures and timescales.
• Handle first-level escalations for assigned schemes and higher escalations as needed.
• Review processes to identify improvement opportunities and discuss with the De-Risking Operational Director.
• Assess budget risks and provide explanations and remedial actions to the Director.
• Manage the billing cycle for assigned clients and report to the client director for invoicing.
• Proactively monitor and mitigate risks that could lead to write-offs or unprofitable activity.
• Lead high-profile and escalated projects, ensuring tasks meet plan timescales and quality.
• Agree on requirements, deadlines, and budgets with client directors for projects.
• Attend project review meetings and project kick-off calls as required.
• Develop flexible communication methods to support client reporting.
