Join our technology teams in the UK, working closely with our global businesses to design and build digital services that enable our millions of customers worldwide to bank quickly, simply, and securely. Our teams manage IT infrastructure, data centres, and core banking systems that power a leading international bank. Our multidisciplinary teams include DevOps Engineers, IT Architects, Front and Back End Developers, Infrastructure specialists, Cybersecurity experts, and Project and Programme managers.

Responsibilities
  1. Define, deliver, and support strategic outcomes for services and applications provided by the DDI team.
  2. Maintain the environment efficiently with minimal disruption to customers.
  3. Collaborate effectively as part of the global team to drive infrastructure deliverables and support requirements.
  4. Follow ITIL processes correctly, including problem, incident, release, change, and configuration management, implementing ITIL best practices where applicable.
  5. Apply disciplined agile principles for daily visibility and workload delivery.
  6. Identify, monitor, and track service improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  7. Participate in an on-call rotation for system support outside normal hours post-training, providing 2nd/3rd line support for incidents and leading problem resolution.
  8. While not having direct line management responsibilities, deputise as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Strong understanding of network hardware, software, and IT support principles, with extensive experience in IT infrastructure roles, including hardware, software, operations, and networks.
  • Deep expertise in managing enterprise-scale DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management).
  • Proven team player with honest and open communication, reliability, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to lead crisis response and recovery under pressure, delivering within tight deadlines.
  • Skill in managing and prioritising service delivery in a dynamic technical environment.
  • Good understanding of software development and deployment lifecycles, with the ability to interpret complex business and IT requirements.
  • Experience leading large projects with solid project management knowledge.
  • Desire to learn new skills, take on challenges, and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), QIP, Infoblox, efficientIP, Cygna AMS/AMM, F5 GTM / Big-IP DNS, SQL, Unix.
  • Proficiency in modern configuration management, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Git, and GitHub.
