Senior DC Pensions (Defined Contribution) Consultant

Mercer is seeking a Senior Defined Contribution (DC) Pensions Consultant to join our specialist DC team in delivering DC services to a large portfolio of clients. Our team is one of the largest, fully integrated teams in the UK, serving corporate sponsors, trustee boards of trust-based schemes, and governance committees of contract-based schemes.

We will count on you to:
  1. Be an expert in Defined Contribution Pensions and serve as a lead consultant on clients, delivering and promoting our services.
  2. Manage your own portfolio by assessing performance, trends, and business insights to ensure top-tier client service.
  3. Hold significant responsibility for proactive revenue generation from existing clients and expanding DC services across other lines of business as appropriate.
  4. Be responsible for global DC management, helping clients analyze their plans both globally and locally, and optimize plan design features.
  5. Build new and develop existing business through maintaining relationships, networking, attending events and seminars, and being a knowledgeable DC expert.
  6. Support and implement Mercer’s business and corporate strategies as a change agent.

  • Experience in a Defined Contributions consultancy role.
  • Excellent governance experience.
  • Proven project management skills and a track record of exceeding client expectations.
