Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Senior Databricks Technical Engineer to join a UK-wide data engineering team. The role is hybrid, offering a mix of remote and on-site work, with a salary range of £100,000 to £112,000 plus bonus and benefits.

You will design scalable data platforms and deliver analytics solutions to improve decision-making and operational performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders, build data pipelines, curate datasets, and develop dashboards in Power BI, while ensuring governance

Qualifications

• Databricks experience as a data engineer.
• Advanced SQL with large datasets.
• Knowledge of data lakehouse architectures.
• Designing data models and supporting Power BI.
• Data governance, security and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and SQL.
• Transform and curate data from multiple sources into high‑quality datasets.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations delivering actionable insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Ensure data quality, governance and security standards are met.
• Collaborate to optimise platform performance, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to best practices, documentation and continuous improvement.
