Job summary

SystemsAccountants Inc. seeks an experienced Senior/Lead Business Analyst in the UK to drive requirements for data warehousing and enterprise reporting. You’ll elicit, document and validate needs, map data flows and work with architects and BI teams to define feasible solutions.

You’ll facilitate stakeholder workshops, set acceptance criteria, support UAT, and coordinate lightweight project activities, delivering clear documentation and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Senior or Lead Business Analyst with complex technical project experience.
• Experience delivering data warehouse and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation and validation skills.
• Experience mapping complex data flows and dependencies.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data architecture and enterprise reporting.
• Experience working with enterprise architects, data engineers and BI teams.
• Stakeholder analysis and as-is/to-be process mapping experience.
• Experience developing acceptance criteria and supporting UAT.
• Project coordination or management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities.
• Strong written communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, validate and prioritise requirements across functional, technical, data and non-functional areas.
• Review reporting needs, identify data sources, business rules and dependencies.
• Map and analyse complex data flows, transformations and integrations.
• Translate requirements into detailed technical and functional specifications.
• Work with architects and BI teams to assess feasibility and design solutions.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and cross-functional engagements.
• Define acceptance criteria and support test plans, scenarios and UAT.
• Support testing, service design and implementation.
• Undertake light-touch project management to manage priorities and timelines.
