Job Description

Are you eager to play a key role in helping LEGO Retail better understand its shoppers? Bring your curiosity and drive digital transformation to life in our commercial areas!

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality data collection and publication to LEGO Nexus (Databricks) in collaboration with Universal Event Collector, Compliant Tracking, and other web tracking teams.
  • Transform, cleanse, and enrich data to create self-serve sources for e-Commerce, A&I, LEGO Retail, and other data consumers like personalization and digital engagement.
  • Develop self-serve dashboards for web tracking and .com metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making across LEGO Retail and Commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with Trading Optimization, Data Science, and A&I Commercial Analytics to enhance data products and improve overall data availability.
  • Champion data literacy and best practices through guidelines, training, documentation, and knowledge sharing while ensuring data integrity, quality, and scalability.

Play your part in our team succeeding

As LEGO accelerates digitization and data strategy, this role is key to scaling the LEGO Data Platform and unlocking data’s value. This role particularly drives self-service data products for LEGO Retail, enabling data-driven operational, tactical, and strategic decisions. While initially focused on e-Commerce, it has the potential to expand into Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

Do you have what it takes?

Whether you hold a background in Mathematics, Sciences, Business Intelligence or Analytics, or have hands-on experience with a proven track record in data tools, you bring a good foundation in data solutions and engineering. You're proficient in SQL and/or Python, comfortable manipulating large structured and unstructured datasets, and experienced in ETL processes and data transformation. Furthermore, you are experienced in data visualization tools like Power BI which help translate data into actionable insights, particularly within the Retail or E-Commerce industry, ideally with web tracking exposure. Lastly, you can communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences, including senior leadership, helping to bridge the gap between data and strategy!

You will travel up to 10 days a year.

Nice to Have:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Databricks, and e-commerce analytics is a plus. Power BI familiarity helps in presenting insights, while Agile experience enables adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment.
