Job summary

Compare the Market is seeking a Data Loss Prevention lead to implement, maintain and continuously improve our DLP capability, safeguarding sensitive data across the organisation.

You will configure DLP policies across Netskope, Microsoft Purview, Wiz and Kiteworks; drive data discovery, classification, and labeling; investigate alerts and collaborate with Cyber Security, Legal, Data Governance and Privacy teams.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Netskope in production environments.
• Proven track record implementing enterprise DLP solutions.
• Hands-on DLP tech experience: Microsoft Purview, Netskope, Wiz and Kiteworks.
• Experience with data discovery, classification, and labeling in complex environments.
• Experience implementing secure file sharing and information protection controls.
• Knowledge of cloud security posture management and risk remediation, ideally Wiz.
• Experience investigating DLP alerts and supporting incident response.
• Strong scripting/automation with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Regex, YAML/JSON.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Compare the Market’s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capability, helping to safeguard sensitive data from unauthorised disclosure, loss and leakage across the organisation.
• Configure, deploy and optimise DLP policies, rules and alerts across key data protection platforms, including Netskope, Microsoft Purview, Wiz and Kiteworks, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
• Drive data discovery, classification and labelling initiatives, identifying sensitive data across the organisation and implementing appropriate protection measures.
• Integrate DLP controls with the wider security environment to deliver effective and comprehensive protection of customer and business data.
• Investigate DLP alerts and incidents, support response activities, and produce reporting and audit evidence to demonstrate the effectiveness of data protection controls.
• Partner with Cyber Security, Information Security, Enterprise Technology, Legal, Compliance, Data Governance and Privacy teams to embed data protection best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain DLP configurations, standards, procedures and documentation, while identifying opportunities to enhance controls as technologies, threats and regulations evolve.
• Work closely with platform vendors and third-party partners to resolve issues, optimise platform capabilities and support ongoing improvements to Compare the Market's data security posture.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience administering, configuring and optimising Netskope in a production environment. Netskope experience is an essential requirement for this role.
• Proven experience implementing and managing enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with DLP technologies, including Microsoft Purview, Netskope, Wiz and Kiteworks.
• Experience conducting data discovery, classification and information labelling activities across complex environments.
• Experience implementing and supporting secure file sharing and information protection controls.
• Knowledge of cloud security posture management and risk remediation, ideally with experience using Wiz.
• Experience investigating DLP alerts, supporting incident response activities and producing reporting for stakeholders and auditors.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Bash/Shell, Regex and YAML/JSON.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently lead multiple DLP projects and initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of how DLP and CASB controls, particularly within Netskope, integrate with broader network and access security architecture.
