Job summary

Haven is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a UK remote-first role with occasional travel to our Hemel Hempstead head office or Haven parks. You will own end-to-end ML model development, deploy analytical solutions, and work with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into insights that drive decision-making.

The role requires hands-on ML, Python and SQL skills, about two years in data science, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product and operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML models.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with data manipulation.
• Around 2 years in data science or a related analytical role.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development and deployment of ML models and analytical solutions.
• Make day-to-day technical decisions on feature engineering, model selection and data requirements.
• Resolve technical challenges during model development and deployment under guidance.
• Deliver high-quality outputs that inform stakeholders and drive project success.
