Job description

The strategy analytics team works closely with strategy, strategic finance, and executive stakeholders to support strategic projects and company-level reporting.

This includes leading on company-level metrics, translating ambiguous strategic questions into practical analysis, and communicating these results to senior stakeholders. The goal is to ensure management has a strong understanding of company performance based on data, enabling accurate and timely forecasts and explanations of deviations. The team also supports strategic questions with well-articulated analysis to facilitate informed decision-making, focusing on user experience and business goals.

This role requires a high level of independence and direct collaboration with senior stakeholders to solve complex strategic problems. Expertise in selecting appropriate analytical methods within time and data constraints is essential. The role is supported by a lead in the strategic insights team.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Analysis: Collaborate with S&O, Strategic Finance, and Executive teams to lead analytics on ambiguous strategic questions independently, including supporting special projects and exploring new domains for growth opportunities.
2. Lead company-level reporting: Oversee the monthly and quarterly reporting processes, including creating core outputs in Looker and Slides, and conducting focused analyses on key trends, risks, and opportunities.
3. Ownership of financial model: Act as the SME for forecasting and understanding deviations in actual performance.
4. Finance team support: Serve as the primary contact within the Insights team for the finance department.
