We seek a Senior Data Scientist to own end-to-end ML lifecycle, leverage Python/SQL on GCP, and collaborate across product, engineering and design teams to deliver scalable fraud solutions.

Based in London, you will advance production-grade models on Vertex AI, drive innovation, and shape the technical roadmap while mentoring teammates and delivering measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Degree (or PhD) in a STEM discipline or equivalent commercial experience.
• Hands-on experience with advanced architectures (deep learning, graph-based, or sequence-based models) in Fintech, Fraud Prevention, or Payments.
• Ability to translate ML concepts into practical product solutions and communicate to non-technical peers.
• Experience owning the full lifecycle from analysis and feature engineering to prototyping, validation, and live A/B testing.
• Willingness to write clean, production-grade code and raise the team’s technical bar.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of models at scale, from initial discovery and feature engineering to production, A/B testing and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate with product and engineering peers to turn complex data into real-time, mission-critical fraud prevention solutions.
• Raise the team’s collective bar through hands-on technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
• Proactively research and integrate latest developments in ML and payer fraud prevention to drive innovation at the company.
