Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Digital Data Scientist to join our Data Science & Analytics team, contributing to data-driven decision-making across global projects in infrastructure and urban development. You will design and deploy predictive and prescriptive models, advance AI/ML strategies, and work with cross-functional teams to embed data science into operational workflows.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in data science, strong Python and SQL skills, experience with MLOps and cloud platforms

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in data science or applied ML.
• Strong Python and SQL with geospatial data analysis.
• Experience with MLOps tools and Azure cloud.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute AI/ML roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and deploy predictive and prescriptive models for key use cases.
• Establish MLOps best practices, monitoring, and retraining.
• Extract insights from complex datasets to inform decisions.
• Design experiments (A/B testing, causal inference) to measure impact.
• Collaborate with data engineering for feature pipelines and data quality.
• Support integration of diverse data sources into analytics platforms.
• Mentor junior data scientists and analysts.
