Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Digital Senior Data Scientist to join the Data Science & Analytics team. You will design and implement predictive and prescriptive models, drive AI/ML strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into operational workflows across infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Data Intelligence Lead, you will mentor junior data scientists and analysts, promote best practices, and present findings to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in data science or applied machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with geospatial data analysis experience.
• Experience with MLOps tools and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Proven ability to influence non-technical stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute AI/ML roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and deploy predictive and prescriptive models for key use cases.
• Establish best practices for model lifecycle management, including MLOps and monitoring.
• Extract actionable insights from complex datasets to inform strategic decisions.
