The Role
This is a strategic and hands-on role for a data scientist who can turn unstructured data into structured insight and shape how we use AI and analytics in our business. ·Ensure all data is structured, labelled, and accessible for analysis
2. Unlock Insights & Value
·Use advanced analytics and machine learning to identify trends, patterns and performance opportunities
·Create benchmarks and reusable insight frameworks to guide both internal strategy and client-facing work
·Spot monetisable opportunities in our data that could become new tools, models, or products
3. Power AI-Driven Tools
·Train and fine-tune AI models using cleaned internal data
·Connect data pipelines to AI tools to deliver more useful, context-aware outputs
·Ensure models are maintained, explainable and delivering consistent value over time
4. Safeguard Trust & Communicate Clearly
·Apply best practices in data security, privacy and governance, with clear policies around access and use
·Monitor for bias, drift or errors in AI outputs and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
·Translate technical findings into clear, business-focused recommendations for internal stakeholders
What we're looking for
·7+ years in data science, analytics or data engineering, preferably in B2B or consultancy environments
·Experience building centralised data platforms, pipelines, and models from the ground up
·Familiarity with tools like SQL, Python, dbt, Airflow, Spark, and modern cloud environments
·Strong understanding of how data supports commercial decision-making
·Confidence presenting technical ideas in simple, clear to non-technical audiences
·A bias for action, autonomy, and the ability to navigate ambiguity

·Day rate: £DOE (outside IR35)
·Duration: 6-month initial contract with extension potential
·Location: Hybrid (London office every Tuesday)
