Senior Data Scientist (Mid and/or Senior)

• Location: Camden, London (4 days in-office)
• Salary: £70,000 - £110,000 + generous equity
• Cutting edge start-up.

La Fosse have partnered with a well-funded SaaS company that is transforming workforce management through cutting-edge AI-driven forecasting and predictive models.

The platform helps businesses optimise staffing based on predicted sales, leveraging data from multiple sources such as weather patterns, events, and historical trends.

With strong industry partnerships and a push to scale the SaaS product, they are now looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist (mid or snr) to play a key role in refining the models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine forecasting models to predict daily sales patterns.
• Integrate external factors (e.g., weather, sporting events) into predictive analytics.
• Provide technical expertise on model development and implementation.
• Optimise model performance for real-world business impact.

Ideal requirements:

• 2-10 years’ experience in data science and predictive modelling.
• Strong background in revenue forecasting, demand prediction, or similar fields.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, AWS and experience with ML frameworks.
• Experience in Computer Vision is a plus.
• Strong academic background (master’s from Cambridge, UCL, Imperial, or similar preferred).
