twentyAI are partnering with a PE-backed Leisure business HQ'ed in Hatfield, Hertfordshire who are looking for a commercially-minded Senior Data Scientist with a knack for building strong relationships, leading impactful projects, and turning business challenges into data-driven opportunities.

This is more than a technical role — it’s about leading high-impact projects, building strong stakeholder relationships, and turning business challenges into data-driven decisions. You’ll partner closely with teams across the company, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights that drive performance.

Objectives

• Acting as the bridge between data and decision-makers, helping shape business strategy through evidence
• Leading high-impact, cross-functional analytics projects with end-to-end ownership
• Turning messy, real-world data into compelling stories and practical outcomes
• Collaborating with product, marketing, and operations teams to embed data into everyday thinking
• Influencing how the business scales and evolves their data science capability as they grow

Requirements

• Proven experience in a commercial data science role, ideally leading projects or a small team
• Strong Python and SQL skills, ideally with Azure tools (Databricks, Data Factory)
• Excellent communication, especially with non-technical stakeholders
• A business-first mindset and a passion for solving real-world problems
• Natural collaboration skills and an appetite to influence
