Job summary

Quantum in London is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own forecasting and strategy models, from data infrastructure behind them to experiments that prove them out, turning statistical and machine learning work into reporting the business actually acts on.

You will design and deploy models, run experiments, and translate complex analytics into clear insights for commercial teams, while collaborating in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Several years building and shipping statistical and machine learning models in production.
• Fluent in Python and SQL and comfortable owning model infrastructure end to end.
• Strong on experiment design and model selection, and honest about how to evaluate what actually works.
• Able to translate complex modelling into clear reporting that non-technical stakeholders can act on.
• You challenge AI rather than lean on it, moving faster without losing rigour.
• Thrives when working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• No ego.

The Role

Our Business Analytics team is growing! We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in London.

In this role you will own the models that drive our forecasting and strategy, from the data infrastructure behind them to the experiments that prove them out, turning statistical and machine learning work into reporting the business actually acts on.
