University of Nottingham is seeking an experienced Senior Data Protection Adviser to join our Information Security and Compliance team, supporting delivery of the University’s Information Compliance Strategy.

Reporting to the Data Protection Officer, you will work across the institution to embed privacy management, oversee the ROPO and processing registers, conduct PIAs, advise senior leaders on complex data protection issues, and lead on data breach response and privacy training while fostering

Qualifications

• Significant experience in data protection within a large or complex environment.
• Ability to provide clear, practical guidance to senior stakeholders on complex compliance issues.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with proven credibility across a large institution.
