Job summary

Oxford University Press is seeking a dedicated Privacy Officer to ensure ongoing compliance with UK and international data protection regulations. You will maintain the organisation’s Privacy Information Management System, conduct privacy risk assessments and support data protection initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with the Group Privacy Officer and Data Protection Coordinators to communicate and uphold policies, manage DPIAs and privacy incidents, respond to data subject rights requests, and

• Experience ensuring compliance with UK and international data protection regulations.
• Proven ability to perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Experience coordinating privacy incidents and data subject rights requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Manage privacy incidents and coordinate responses to data subject rights requests.
• Support rollout of privacy management software across the organisation.
• Act as a business partner to divisions to embed data protection awareness and training.
