Colt Technology Services Group Ltd. in London seeks a Senior Data Protection Specialist to provide expert guidance on UK GDPR, EU GDPR and international privacy requirements across the business.

You will lead DPIAs, TIAs and privacy-by-design reviews for complex, multi-jurisdictional initiatives and draft governance materials to support the global Data Protection Programme. The role reports to the Global Data Protection Director and involves close collaboration with Product, Technology,

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in data protection, privacy law, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong practical knowledge of UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and international transfers.
• Proven experience leading DPIAs, TIAs, and privacy-by-design reviews.
• Experience with AI governance, product privacy, or processor services.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional European language desirable.
• Legal qualification or equivalent senior privacy experience; certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, or AIGP desirable.
• Strong communication, drafting, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, regulator-defensible advice on UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and international privacy laws.
• Lead and deliver DPIAs and TIAs for complex projects.
• Draft and negotiate data processing agreements and international transfer mechanisms.
• Advise stakeholders across Product, Technology, Security, Procurement, HR, Sales and Legal.
• Support AI tools, automation and digital transformation from privacy perspective.
• Lead and manage vendor privacy assessments.
• Support data protection process digitalisation and tooling.
• Assist with data incident investigations, breach assessments and regulatory documents.
• Develop and deliver training on data protection.
• Monitor regulatory developments and recommend actions.
