Job summary

Agilisys is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and deliver Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platform workstreams from design through production. You will collaborate with architects, analysts and client stakeholders to build secure, scalable data solutions that feed Power BI reports and data products.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to standards, and help move legacy platforms to modern, production-grade services within a public-sector friendly, governance-aware environment.

Qualifications

5+ years data engineering experience at Senior level.
Hands-on Fabric delivery experience (18–24+ months).
Experience delivering production-grade data platforms.

Responsibilities

Deliver Fabric and Azure data platforms end to end: build and productionise Fabric solutions.
Engineer reliable data pipelines and models using SQL, Python and PySpark.
Own Dev/Test/Production delivery and CI/CD with Fabric deployment pipelines.
Protect security and governance with RBAC, Entra ID, and data controls.
Monitor, tune and troubleshoot production workloads and data quality.
Support Power BI consumption with semantic models and reporting.
