Job summary

Agilisys is a leading provider of digital transformation in the public services sector. The Senior Data Engineer role focuses on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform workstreams, from design through production deployment, with mentoring of engineers and collaboration with architects and stakeholders.

You will build secure, scalable data solutions, support Power BI consumption, and help migrate legacy platforms to modern, production-grade services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ commercial data engineering experience, including senior level exposure.
• Strong hands-on Fabric delivery experience (18–24+ months) with production-grade Fabric.
• Deep SQL, Python and PySpark skills; Delta/Parquet and medallion architecture familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Fabric and Azure data platforms end to end, integrating diverse data sources.
• Engineer reliable data pipelines and models with batch/incremental/real-time techniques.
• Own Dev/Test/Production delivery and CI/CD, with controlled promotion and rollback.
