Job summary

ApprovalMax is seeking a Senior Data Engineer responsible for building and maintaining its enterprise data platform. You will design and implement scalable data pipelines and drive engineering quality while mentoring the analytics team.

As a part of a fast-growing B2B SaaS company, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring data quality and working collaboratively with product engineering and finance teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in a SaaS or B2B product environment.
• Experience using AI coding agents as a default in development workflows.
• Expertise with cloud-native data platforms, ideally Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ELT pipelines and ingestion processes.
• Implement data quality frameworks across the platform.
• Act as a technical authority on the data team and mentor junior engineers.
• Own incidents and contribute to architecture decision records.
