Job Title: Senior Data Modeller - Corporate Banking (CB) Data Services


Location: London


Corporate Title: Vice President


CB Data Services provide stable, reliable, curated, controlled CB data and tooling that enables CB in data analytics and services. Within CB Data services, Data Architecture and Modelling CoE (Centre of Excellence) design and create strategic data models and protocols for data publication.


As a Senior Data Modeller, you'll take ownership and work on the design and development of enterprise logical data models and physical data models that support the CB business strategy. You will ensure the design team creates models that are agreed upon by data producers and consumers and adhere to group data architecture and industry standards.

Your key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Change Management and IT groups to align data models with current and future plans
  • Define, design, build, and maintain data models, working with data architects on shared dependencies
  • Articulate the 'language' of your function in various data models (conceptual, logical, physical)
  • Provide SME input into Data flow architecture activities and partner with Technology/System architects
  • Work with Development, Change Management, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure compliance with blueprints
Your skills and experience
  • Experience designing and implementing data pipelines and protocol formats in enterprise architecture
  • Experience with enterprise Logical and Physical data models (UML) and modelling tools like Enterprise Architect and Power Designer
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong business analysis, data management, and governance skills
  • Database design, report construction, and SQL experience
  • Understanding of XML, JSON, and messaging structures related to data models
