Job summary

Luxoft is leading a strategic data engineering engagement to migrate an enterprise data processing estate from Matillion to AWS Glue for a world-class financial market infrastructure client.

During Mobilisation, you will reverse-engineer the current landscape, design target-state architecture, and build a detailed delivery blueprint to enable a large-scale migration. This role blends data engineering expertise with architecture leadership in a Tier 1金融 services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-scale migrations and large data estates.
• Ability to plan migrations across multiple systems and dependencies.
• Deep knowledge of Control-M, schedules, dependencies and calendars.
• Hands-on design of AWS Step Functions workflows and orchestration.
• Experience identifying risks and mitigating them in migration programs.
• Experience validating data post-migration and reconciling results.
• Experience managing releases in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Wave planning to migrate cohorts based on system dependencies.
• Assess and document complexity of workloads before migration.
• Analyze batch processes, dependencies, schedules and SLAs.
• Design migration strategy from Control-M to AWS Step Functions.
• Create detailed cutover runbooks with steps and rollback criteria.
• Coordinate across multiple teams involved in the migration.
• Govern release processes to ensure quality and compliance.
