Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Consultant Data Engineer to drive a major data modernization effort in the UK. You will build robust pipelines to move from on-prem Teradata to an AWS Lakehouse, converting hundreds of legacy scripts into dbt models and orchestrating workflows with Airflow.

You will collaborate with system analysts, automation engineers, and data architects to deliver governed warehousing in Databricks, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance across complex environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of dedicated Data Engineering experience, including complex migrations.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments is preferred.
• Strong CI/CD for data pipelines and IaC awareness.
• Expert SQL and Python for pipeline development.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Consumer Risk datasets from Teradata to AWS Lakehouse.
• Convert legacy Teradata scripts to dbt models and modular pipelines.
• Orchestrate workflows with Apache Airflow via Astronomer environment.
• Ensure data lineage and governance with OpenLineage integration.
• Collaborate with QA/Automation to ensure data parity and accuracy.
