Job summary

McLaren Automotive Limited is seeking a hands-on Data Integration Engineer within the Business Performance function. Working under the Associate Director, People & Finance Technology & Data, you will design, build, maintain and improve secure, scalable integrations between Workday and McLaren systems to move data and transactions accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Engineer, BI Developer, or Data Analyst in a data-driven environment.
• Alternatively, a relevant degree or qualification.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of APIs, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, SFTP and ETL/ELT patterns.
• Experience with data modelling and datasets for reporting (Power BI preferred).
• Ability to build and maintain robust data pipelines and integrations.
• High attention to data accuracy and awareness of data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and support secure, scalable integrations across People, Finance and wider McLaren technologies.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines with timely, accurate datasets.
• Translate requirements into scalable integration designs covering mappings, security and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with enterprise tech teams to clarify data flows, ownership and controls.
• Support Workday integrations and data migration activities with other transformation programmes.
• Document interfaces, endpoints, schedules, dependencies and runbooks to support operations.
