Job summary

PACT Solutions is seeking a Data Integration Lead to drive data integration workstreams and small to medium projects across UK higher education partners. The role combines delivery leadership with deep technical expertise in integration architecture, Azure Integration Services and software engineering.

You will shape and deliver secure, scalable integrations connecting institutional platforms, data and services, while contributing to PACT's growth of its Data Integration capability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading data integration delivery and hands‑on integration engineering.
• Experience leading workstreams or small projects within complex programmes.
• Deep understanding of integration architecture, messaging patterns and async processing.
• Hands‑on with Azure Integration Services and related Azure services.
• Strong Python and/or .NET development capability for production grade integrations.
• Ability to design secure, scalable and maintainable integrations across complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead data integration workstreams or full integration project components.
• Define delivery approaches, plans, milestones, governance and technical assurance.
• Design, build, test and deploy integrations across programmes.
• Manage dependencies between source/target systems, data flows and interfaces.
• Lead architecture and engineering of integrations; create reusable components.
• Engage senior stakeholders; translate technical concepts to business language.
• Coach Consultants and Analysts; assure technical outputs and quality.
• Oversee RAID, governance and go‑live activities; ensure security and observability.
• Contribute to capability growth and thought leadership within the team.
