Job Title: Senior Data Insight Analyst

Role Overview
Markerstudy Group is looking for an experienced Data Insight Analyst to join a fast-growing company developing ambitious solutions across various insurance lines, leveraging extensive data assets and cutting-edge processing capabilities.
As a Data Insight Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding and actionable customer insights
- Providing insights and supporting the development of data products that shape Markerstudy’s strategic roadmaps and customer propositions
- Supporting the delivery, maintenance, and ongoing support of the Data Insight and Enrichment integration strategy across the group
- Collaborating with other departments to enhance overall company performance
Your ideas and solutions will enable improvements to products, pricing, and processes, giving Markerstudy a competitive edge in the insurance market.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the build and maintenance of core data product capabilities in areas such as debt, affordability, claims, pricing, customer personalization, and customer service contact center.
- Deliver analytics through analysis, testing, modeling, profiling, and reporting
- Investigate data and analytical initiatives to enhance broker insights
- Identify and pursue new data-driven opportunities
- Review and optimize data product offerings through actionable insights
- Design, deliver, and maintain data insight and enrichment analytics solutions
- Support junior team members with your expertise in data science and analytics
- Build networks across commercial data, pricing, and other teams
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in Data Science / Analytics within a business environment
- Strong mathematics/science degree or equivalent commercial experience
- Passionate and curious about data, with a problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills, capable of storytelling to stakeholders and customers
- Team-oriented, sharing findings and insights proactively
- Proficient in R/Python/SQL or similar coding languages
- Resilient and capable of working independently to deliver projects
- Proactively sharing insights, results, and risks
- Effective at communicating results concisely, both verbally and in writing
Desirable:
- Experience with cloud platforms and tools (Azure, AWS, Databricks)
- Experience in insurance or financial services
- Knowledge of the latest analytics tools and techniques
