TRIA is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its growing technology function, remote in the UK with occasional travel to London. You will lead the design and delivery of data pipelines, models and analytics-ready datasets using Python, SQL and Azure Synapse, with Power BI as the reporting layer.

You will influence engineering standards, patterns and best practices across a group-wide data platform, and contribute to the evolution of Microsoft Fabric as part of the platform's ongoing

Formación

• Hands-on data engineering experience building and maturing cloud data platforms.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with practical Azure Synapse Analytics experience.
• Experience delivering analytics-ready datasets and data models for Power BI.
• Understanding of lakehouse/warehouse patterns, data quality, governance and security.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain and extend data ingestion, transformation and orchestration pipelines using Python, SQL and Azure technologies.
• Develop and optimise data solutions within Azure Synapse Analytics, supporting the ongoing development of the wider data platform.
• Develop data models and curated datasets to support Power BI, analytics and data science.
• Help establish engineering standards, reusable patterns and best practices across a growing data platform.
• Work across multiple enterprise source systems and data domains, with responsibility for data quality, governance, security and platform performance.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the platform, including its adoption and use of Microsoft Fabric.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers and help develop the wider organisation's use of its data platform.
