Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (SQL Snowflake) in London with a hybrid WFH option. You will build and optimise data pipelines using Python, SQL, Dagster, Snowflake, DBT and C#, driving a new Snowflake-based platform while modernising legacy systems.

You will mentor engineers, work with stakeholders, and ensure high data quality to support investment performance. Hybrid model includes three days in the London office per week.

Qualifications

Strong data engineering background with software development practices.
Expertise in SQL and Snowflake with query optimisation.
Experience with data modelling and ELT pipelines.
Proficient in Python and/or C#.
Experience in finance/asset management is a plus.
Familiar with Dagster and DBT tooling.
Collaborative, proactive and able to mentor others.

Responsibilities

Build and optimise reliable data pipelines and integrations.
Contribute to shaping a Snowflake-based data platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
Ensure data quality, integrity and reliability across systems.
