Job summary

Betty is seeking a data warehouse engineer to join its data platform team in the United Kingdom. You will design and maintain scalable pipelines, load data from diverse sources, and ensure regulatory and internal reporting needs are met with robust data models.

You will collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders, optimize data processes, and evaluate new technologies to strengthen data processing & storage capabilities. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, data science, or related field.
• 3+ years in data warehouse engineering or related role.
• Experience with cloud data warehousing tech: Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Proficient in Python.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with Airflow or Dagster for pipelines.
• CI/CD experience and automated deployment.
• Excellent analytical and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and business stakeholders, to define and understand data requirements.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for loading data from different sources into the DWH.
• Optimize and fine-tune existing data processes for improved performance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to implement scalable and secure data platform.
• Create and maintain reports for regulatory requirements and internal business needs.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance data processing and storage capabilities.
