Qualifications

• Ability to explain trade-offs and architectural decisions.
• Comfortable taking ambiguous problems forward without detailed specs.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable systems for acquiring, ingesting and processing complex datasets.
• Own data systems from problem definition through production.
• Improve data quality, provenance, security and sanitisation.
• Make architectural decisions across storage, processing, reliability and cost.
• Collaborate with Platform and Software Engineers on core product infrastructure.
