Job summary

Burns Sheehan Limited is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer for a fast-growing consumer tech client. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, work with Python, SQL, Snowflake, Dagster/dbt, and AWS, and help scale the data platform used for decision-making.

Fully remote within the UK, with private health insurance, income protection, salary sacrifice schemes, and extra holiday with tenure as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Senior‑level data engineer with solid software engineering habits.
• Confident Python and SQL in production.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Dagster or Airflow, and AWS.
• Startup or scale‑up background, comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining scalable pipelines in Python, SQL, Snowflake, Dagster, dbt and AWS.
• Owning projects end to end, from ingestion through to analytics.
• Building a proper staging and testing environment, and improving monitoring, alerting and data quality.
• Contributing to CDC and lower-latency data work.
