Qualifications

• At least four years of professional data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing data.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT design and production pipelines.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Knowledge of modern data warehousing and data modeling.
• Ability to diagnose data issues and optimize pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration in international teams.
• Remote-first mindset and autonomous work style.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse sources.
• Develop and optimize data models, schemas, and transformation logic.
• Establish data quality checks and reliability standards.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot data issues, and identify root causes.
• Implement observability, alerting, and cost-efficient data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, data science, and engineering teams.
• Create technical documentation for pipelines, models, and workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations and production support.
• Evaluate new technologies to strengthen the data platform.
