Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as CS, bioinformatics or statistical genetics.
• Hands-on data engineering experience with production pipelines for omics/genetics data.
• Experience building data platforms, data quality, lineage, and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Engineer analysis-ready biological data solutions for computational biologists and data scientists.
• Build and operationalise Omics data products and analytical workflows across multi-omics datasets.
• Develop statistical genetics pipelines including GWAS-related tasks and fine-mapping.
• Ensure data quality, reproducibility and governance through automated validation and monitoring.
• Contribute to future data platform architecture and engineering best practices.
