GLF Schools is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join One GLF Insights at The Beacon School, Banstead, with hybrid working options. You will own and extend data pipelines, Lakehouses, data-quality controls and governed semantic models to deliver trusted insights for pupils, staff and operations.

Working with the Head of Data, you will implement secure access, build Power BI semantic models, and collaborate with education, finance and HR teams to translate needs into reliable data products.

Competenze

• Experience building and supporting modern cloud data platforms (Microsoft Fabric or similar).
• Strong Python, PySpark and SQL skills with lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with Power BI semantic models, DAX, and row-level security.

Mansioni

• Build, maintain and optimise data pipelines and transformations.
• Develop Bronze, Silver and Gold data layers and reusable frameworks.
• Create data-quality, logging, monitoring, and recovery controls.
• Develop governed Power BI semantic models and shared dimensions.
• Implement secure access and data protection measures.
• Ensure maintainable internal ownership with docs and tests.
• Collaborate with education, finance, HR, MIS and IT to translate needs into data products.
