Job description

Fully remote - UK

£70,000 (DOE) + Excellent benefits

Data ignites passion, community fuels collaboration, and growth knows no bounds. Recognized for innovation and rapid growth, this esteemed consultancy has been named Databricks EMEA Emerging Business Partner of the Year and has achieved a second consecutive appearance on the Financial Times FT1000 list.

We are looking for Senior Data Engineers to join remotely in the UK. Be the first to have an influential impact on our UK hub.

"As a Data Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to push the boundaries of technology and lead the way in how data transforms the world. We work with customers who want to innovate and change their industries. So, it never gets boring! Sorting out complex technical puzzles, setting up new data architectures from scratch, or guiding our customers through adopting the latest technologies is routine here. We expect you to be more than just a (data) engineer — to breathe and live data, pursue knowledge and excellence, and build something enduring and impactful for our customers."

Technical Expertise
  1. You will have 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  2. You have a proven track record working with Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
  3. You have extensive experience in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline orchestration (Databricks Workflows, DLT, Airflow, ADF, Glue, Step Functions).
  4. You’re proficient in SQL and Python, using them to transform and optimize data.
  5. You know your way around CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep).
  6. You have hands-on experience integrating Databricks with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Consulting & Client-Facing Skills
  1. Proven experience in consulting, from scoping to requirements gathering, designing solutions, and stakeholder communication.
  2. You have successfully delivered projects like Data Lakehouse buildouts and cloud data migrations.
  3. You excel at explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and driving decision-making.
What We Offer
  • The opportunity to impact our growth trajectory and organizational success.
  • The chance to work remotely with optional European travel to our head office.
  • World-class educational benefits, including access to Databricks' courses, certifications, and internal resources.
  • Flexible annual leave days.
  • Four weeks of paternity leave.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for psychological, financial, and legal support.
  • Pension scheme and private health insurance.
  • Top-notch working equipment: MacBook Pro, phone, and a GBP 1000 sign-up bonus for home office setup.
  • The opportunity to make an impact in a high-transparency, no-politics culture and work in the field of data & AI to shape the future of a rapidly growing tech company.
