Job summary

Travel Chapter is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Product Engineering team in a hybrid role based in the UK. You will design, build and evolve our data platform and warehouse, turning diverse data into trusted datasets for analytics and data-driven products.

You will lead data pipeline development, shaping engineering standards, improving data reliability, and mentoring colleagues while collaborating with product managers and other engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial data engineering experience, ideally in a senior or lead capacity.
• Advanced SQL and an excellent understanding of databases.
• Experience designing and operating production data pipelines; mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop data models and schemas for large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers and stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
