Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a 15-month fixed-term role based at Trafford House, Wythenshawe. You will help design and develop our Trust BI and data warehouse platforms, focusing on Epic Caboodle and reporting capabilities.

You’ll collaborate with Digital Services and the wider organisation to implement data flows, models and dashboards that support clinical quality and decision making across NHS datasets.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of NHS data sets, standards, and returns.
• Epic Caboodle/Clarity certifications are desirable.
• CI/CD development practices with agile and DevOps emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop BI products and data warehousing solutions for the Trust.
• Provide expertise in SQL Server, modelling and report development.
• Plan, design and implement BI solutions to underpin decision making.
• Support data warehouse and data lake platform development.
• Train and support colleagues in new technologies and reports.
