VIVID is recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth or Basingstoke. This permanent, full-time role runs 37 hours a week with at least 20% office-based collaboration to promote teamwork.

You will design, build and optimise Azure data pipelines using Databricks, Data Factory and Synapse, delivering secure, scalable data products for reporting and analytics while mentoring other engineers and upholding robust engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building modern Azure data platforms.
• Experience designing data pipelines and data products.
• Mentoring and leading other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead on engineering standards, CI/CD practices and automated testing.
• Platform optimisation and cost efficiency while ensuring reliability.
• Mentor engineers and support the development of a high-performing data function.
• Collaborate across the business to deliver production-ready data solutions.
