Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data or Software Engineering.
• 2+ years Python development.
• Experience with system design and leading multi-person development efforts.
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark.
• Experience with building scalable APIs and backend infrastructure.
• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with Airflow.
• Familiar with LangChain or similar frameworks; embedding models and vector/graph databases a plus.
• Keeps up-to-date with AI advancements and translating techniques into applications.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and launch end-to-end data pipelines, products, and tools with investment professionals and data scientists.
• Develop big data processing pipelines including ingestion, transformation, and trends to deliver AI-ready data assets.
• Create reusable software components, libraries, and APIs for rapid experimentation and production deployment.
• Implement data quality, lineage, and governance for compliant datasets.
• Build scalable AI-native cloud infrastructure using distributed systems techniques.
