This is an opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer to join a Tech for Good business in Manchester as they embark on an ambitious roadmap of new products and services.

With big plans to keep scaling it’s an excellent opportunity for further career progression.

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, ensuring efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval.

You will need experience in the following:

• A track record of consolidating data sources, creating pipelines and ideally a software engineering mindset.
• Excellent experience with Containers.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Airflow, SQL and Linux.
• Proficient in the following technologies - AWS Lambda, ECS, Athena, S3, Kinesis, Glue, CloudWatch/Terraform/CDK, Tableau Online.

They are particularly keen on Senior Data Engineers who utilise good AI based tooling for productivity, such as Co-Pilot.

The team values collaboration and with plenty of new projects to get involved in, the team gets together twice a week in their central Manchester office.
